Because it wouldn't be day one of the summer holidays without some form of disaster, the washing machine has totally packed up, and despite engineer DH's best efforts it's unfixable.
Does anyone have any recommendations please for a £300 ish washer large-ish capacity machine (DS2 has significant additional needs and we frequently have duvets to wash). It doesn't need to sing, dance and make the tea but a delay, quick wash option and a fast spin are needed. Also deliverable or collectable soon as the nearest launderette is not at all near it turns out!
