Solution to sofa cushion creep?

We have a lovely, v expensive multiyork sofa, but I spend my life pushing the seat cushions back. They are constantly creeping forward (unless you sit on them "properly" like I do!).

Is there some sort of "grippy" product which will keep the cushions where they should be?

Maybe then I could have a life!

I have the same problem and assumed it was because my sofa is a cheap nasty one.

Wonder if sew on velcro would do the trick?

I know exactly what you mean about sitting on them 'properly'

oh, please tell me something is available to help with this. we have a ridiculously large sofa, with feather cushions - it's a full work out trying to pumel cushions into place all the time! And even when you do manage it, sit on the damn thing once, and the cushions slide all over (mostly forwards...)

Am sick of the thing tbh, bu dh insists there is years more life in it yet

Hey now, here's a thought.

How about those rubbery discs you can buy that go under childrens dinner plates to stop them sliding?

I've got teenagers, so don't have them anymore. If anyone has them, please give them a go under your sofa cushions and report back here.

oh oh oh!

what about this?

I think my dog deliberately pushes the cushion forward to make himself a little nest. (he's a dachshund so he wedges in nicely). The previous dog used to sit atop the feather back cushion so much it became permanently deformed so I got a firm foam replacement.

I just bought some anti slip mats from Ikea (they are sold for putting under rugs). they are dirt cheap, can be cut to size and have solved my irritating slippy cushion problem!
