Water stains on outside of oven door from towel

My lovely new black neff oven in a tower unit has only been in a couple of months. There’s nowhere else to hang a towel but on the door but I am getting horrible limescale (?) water type stains all over the outside that really show when the sun shines on it. I am currently just wiping away with anti-bac spray and a damp cloth but they don’t go completely. Any suggestions?

I have towel hooks in my kitchen, same as in the bathroom

If it's limescale, white vinegar would remove it.
If it's a mark, then baby oil or wd40 should bring it out.
Maybe try a tiny inconspicuous area first.

A spray of surface polish, the sort suitable for wood, glass etc, sprayed and well buffed up will give it some protection from water.

Put some stick on hooks on the inside of a cupboard door, such as the under sink cupboard. I have a slim towel rail in mine.
