Bath mat

Hi. It’s a boring one, does anyone know why my washing machine doesn’t spin my bath mat?

It's too heavy when wet and there's no balance in the drum to let it spin.

Put a towel or two of about the same weight in with it and it should work.

My stupid machine won’t spin my bedding and a bath sheet in the same wash. Tank is large enough without being stuffed. I put it down to the “wet weight” so I think you too must have a stupid machine that doesn’t like a heavy wet mat!

Apparently it's something to do with the sensor, especially if you have a more expensive machine. Mine will spin one bathmat and one big towel quite happily, because when they get 'stuck' to the side of the drum, it's still balanced.

Is it the only thing in there? If so add something else.

(you can put more washing in too, if you need to wash bedding or something, you just need at least two big, heavy items)
