I clean when I fancy but I really wish I could be a creature of habit and get into a good routine.
For years I've been meaning to do it and never have.
Would be a good idea with 3 kids really!

How are you YG?

We all clean here, don't really have a set routine, although ds does hoover the entire house on a Saturday morning while the rest of us do the weekly market shop. I am quite lazy and hate tackling the housework in one go, so I tend to do an hour or so 2/3 mornings a week and dh does his half when he gets in from work before he picks up dd.

Pre Children I used to clean my house from top to bottom every week on a saturday - now it's as and when and I chase my tail most days.

Would love a routine but probably wouldn't stick to it

I am a PMT cleaner - the worst of all worlds

PMT makes me feel like taking Proza forever! ...Dissapears...

I do downstairs on a Monday and upstairs on a Tuesday. Other bits (like hand smears on conservatory doors etc) get done as I go along.

I pull beds out once a month and hoover the carpet and wipe those bits of skirting board. All other skirting board gets wiped once a week.

Downstairs toilet gets done everyday.

Bathroom and shower room get done on a Tuesday and a quick wipe in between. I bleach the loos everyday.

I think I probably am over the top but this is the way I am.

I know DH thinks I clean too much - but then his mother never cleaned at all

Creature of habit.

I do the housework on Saturday morning.

Other than that during the week I just do laundry and hoover downstairs if it needs it.

I work p/t and don;t really have time to do much during the week, so it works for me.

If I didn;t work I suppose I would choose one day a week and do the same.

I like being able to do it all and then have the house looking nice for about 2 hours
