Frosty Fridge!

Has anyone used Lakeland fridge de-icer without switching off fridge? Instructions state this should be done, but so far as I can tell, fridge is hard wired (and integrated) so this will be a big job

Call Lakeland and ask them

If your fridge is hardwired you should try turning the temperature down to minimum. If it’s a wheel it might click past “zero” to switch off.
After that wait 30 minutes for the ice inside to start melting, put a towel on the floor in front and the ice should just fall away.
Use your de-icer spray if any leftover bits of ice need help.

Our hardwired fridge has a switch on the kitchen wall along with dishwasher, cooker and washing machine. They should be labelled for each appliance.
