We use the washing line as much as possible and have two tumble dryers. One is an old Creda that dries clothes v.v.quick, the other is a new(ish) Hotpoint washer/dryer that takes about twice as long for the same load.
I prefer using the Hotpoint one and I assume it's cheaper/greener/more efficient, but how can it be if it takes longer?
