Hello, I have a small bathroom but it's completely tiled apart from the ceiling. I don't have the money or the man power to regrout but it looks so tired and grubby (been like this since I moved 3 years ago). Can anyone recommend a way to clean it without too much elbow grease? Is there a magical product that I don't know about? Please give me ALL your wisdom! I'm so fed up of living in a bathroom hovel!!!

Just douse it in bleach and leave for 20mins, then wash off. Voilà

Definitely bleach and possibly a toothbrush. If it's really bad it might take a few goes but you'll get there.

I got a grout "pen" from B and Q, has brightened up the grout between my bathroom tiles.

Just straight up bathroom bleach that goes down the toilet? I have a cleaning brush that is a bit like a giant electric toothbrush so could scrub away at it with that? I'm asthmatic and don't know if my lungs could take it but I'm tempted!

I soak/ drench strips of (white) kitchen roll in bleach then stick to the grout and leave overnight. Then scrub. I may have also used a concoction of lemon and baking powder or something similar.

I’ve just found grout pens on Temu and they are fab - cheap, easy to use and transform the floor in about an hour. I’d tried bleaching but still looked grubby, now look as they did when they were first laid. If I have to redo it once or twice a year it’s quick and easy.

Dettol mould and mildew spray. Spray, leave for a few hours and rinse. If the grout is grubby then use Cif cream and your brush to clean it first

HG Grout cleaner is very good.

I use a toothbrush dipped in bleach then leave it a few hours.

Yes normal toilet bleach. It works for me no problems. You want to let it pour down the walls over all the tiles.

If you have asthma do not use the electric brush with the bleach. It will get the fumes everywhere. Just use a manual toothbrush to spread the bleach on carefully and then rinse it off a few hours later.
