I have taken a lion door knocker off my front door today as it sounds like the postman/window cleaner are hammering down my door when they use it (think they must have a door bell phobia).
I was wondering if it was real brass-might sell it if it is.
The lions face is about the size of a palm and it weighs over 3lb.
Is there any way of checking?
