How much clothes/shoe storage do you have?

I'm sure I don't have that many clothes but they don't fit in the wardrobe and the drawers don't shut properly on my chest of drawers lol

How much clothes storage do you have? (for yourself I mean)

NOT. NEARLY. ENOUGH.

Like everyone. Except those with walk in wardrobes.

I have half a free-standing wardrobe (the other half is DD's) and half a tall, narrow chest of drawers (shared with DS). I also have my 'dress-up' clothes (not many) hanging
in DS's wardrobe and a coat/jacket in the hall.

I have the fewest clothes of the five of us and take up the least amount of space!!

Have a wardrobe. (So 1 m wide). Half is hanging space. Half is shelves. Share a basket for shoes with dh in the entrance area.

6m - 3m me, 3m DH

AND a suitcase full in storage.

large drawer, small cupboard & box under bed for shoes - that's just for me. DH has nearly 30 pairs of shoes!

I feel excessive now!

We have just finished assembling what has to be the worlds largest wardrobe. Courtesy of IKEA we now have something measuring 2.5m wide and 2.36m high. We have 1.5m of hanging rails and the rest is filled with drawers, baskets & shelves and a 12 pair shoe rack thingy.

I have more space than hubby, and have filled it all!!! Am a bit concerned as a lot of my clothes aren't even out in active use as I can't fit into them at the moment (36wks) so I put them away in the attic!

We were replacing a 2 level clothes rail thing and 2 x tall chest of drawers - hubby reckoned then that we didn't need that much storage and wanted a wardrobe and low level chest of drawers - he clearly has no idea

Having done it though - I would definately recommend the big wardrobe filled with everything option as it makes great use of the space you have.

We probably average out to a metre each.

But probably have the equivalent in washing/ironing at any one time.

Dp has a double wardrobe and a chest of drawers.

I have a double wardobe for long dresses and coats and posh shoes. DD and i then have turned our smallest bedroom into a walk in dressing room.

Half a wardrobe, DH has the rest, and 8 drawers. I also have a hanging shoe store which was worth the money.
