we're thinking of gloss doors on our kitchen units. Tell me the truth..are they a nightmare (we have 2 small kids)

I've just had some fitted - white gloss. I am really pleased with them I have 2 ds (2.5 and 6), well known for applying sticky hand prints everywhere. The doors do obviously get marks on them but they are so easy to wipe with just a cloth and water they are no trouble at all - go for it

I have them too. I usually clean them with a kitchen cleaner and kitchen roll, rather than a damp cloth, as it leaves them streak free!

you are supposed to wipe them down when you first get them with a very weak solution of washing up liquid and water ... it helps stop them from getting too scratched!

I love our white gloss units - I have a 9 yr old who likes to cook and a 7 yr old ASD ds.

I use a microfibre cloth which is great and leaves no streaks. For extra sparkle I use the slightest bit of glass cleaner. Yes they do get grubby; but any units do, and they are so quick and easy to clean.
