So these two kids tops have had a wash in bio arial platinum extra stain removal and I even used the steam function on the machine!

They then had an overnight soak in Tesco oxy powder for whites.

Why on earth do these new stains remain!?

That yellow one on the neck looks like suncream and there's no hope for that. Try ultrasun in future. It's the only one I've found which doesn't stain.

It probably is, but we’ve been using the same one for months now and never had this problem before.

Recently got a bigger washing machine and starting to think that’s the problem!

Soak in Ace Bleach (the white one) then wash, works every time.

You need a bar of soap OP. It works well on sunscreen stains.

If you can get the laundry bar soap (green one) then this is always best. Otherwise just use a normal bar soap, one of the anti bacterial types like Dettol will work too.

Wet the soap and rub onto the stain so it leaves a layer on the collar / stain. Then leave it like that, and you can put it in the sun if you like. Then wash as normal the next day.

The smaller stains look like it could be oil or pen? Do the same on these marks too. But if its permanent marker or the likes, then chances are it won't fully budge.

The result of Ace! I’d read it would turn suncream pink, so I guess that’s confirmed!

They look like school tops. I made my peace years ago with stains on those. The school let them have marker pens that don't come out so I'm not going overboard trying to keep them pristine. They are clean and ironed, a couple of food and suncream stains are just par for the course.

My DS tops kept doing this for months and it took me ages to realise it was suncream 🤦🏻‍♀️ nightmare

it will not get rid of all of it but may make it fade a bit. Hang them out on a really sunny day.
