Dried on grout off tiles?

We’ve recently moved house and are working our way through little jobs. The bathroom is fine (for now!) but previous owners have at some point grouted tiles and haven’t cleaned it off. It’s quite a large area so I’m not ready to replace tiles just yet. Is there anything I can use to get it off? I’m thinking along the lines of acetone or turpentine and a scraper (just because I have lots of these to hand) - is this a waste of time and is there an easier way/can I buy something in particular? I’m not worried about damaging/scratching the tiles as they’ll be replaced in time anyway, just looking to clean them up for now.

I was told to rub excess dried grout off with a dry cloth because if the cloth is wet you just pull more grout out of the joints and onto the tiles. If it is obvious lumpy bits I’d go at it with a scraper then a dry cloth.

HG Tile Cement Grout Film Remover - put it on, let it work its fizzy magic for five minutes, then a little go over with a scraper and comes off a treat.
