What cleaning apps do folk used. I've tried a lot of systems Flylady, organised mum, Dana sidetracked home executives got the all the books but not tried an app. My house is a bit better than it was a couple of years ago but still not great. Should I try the organised mum app and subscription. Anybody got it. Thanks. Or a different one

I’ve got TOMM. I’ve not had much chance to try it as partner refuses to get on board.
Anc I’m not doing nearly 100% of yhd housework anymore. This short time I did use i liked it. It’s really cheap so you’ve got nothing to lose in giving it a go.

I’ve just started using this one Flatastic. I’ve put the kids and DH on it and they are finally doing something around the house without nagging. The chores rotate between the people you select, it was most entertaining watching DH do the oven. The kids wipe down the sides, load the dishwasher etc to get their points. We see who the winner is on Friday night, and they get a prize. Probably it will only last a few weeks but it’s good for now.

Thanks I will get it I think. But my printer isn't working so I won't be able to print out the sheets. I'm always looking for a magic cure for messy house. Haven't found one yet!

Me and DH have a sinced subscription to Tody. It takes a while to write in all the jobs you have per room and the frequency you want to do each job. (there are standard options for all of this, but you can write your own too) It's very customisable.

I was going to get it but see you need to pay by Google pay. Never done that before. Can't see why you can't pay by card or PayPal.

Thanks. I haven't heard of Tody. I have just downloaded it.

I use the Tom Rocks podcasts by The Organised Mum. I struggle to keep to her actual routines, but between her and Dana K White's principles of making things X time better, the house has stayed much more managable over the past 3 years since she launched it.

There's sessions that cover most things. I can freshen a room up in 5 mins which still astonishes me that it makes a difference, and everything up to one hour deep cleans or multi-room cleans. There's also a good bank of one-off jobs or other household tasks.

It's taken so much frustration out of trying to keep on top of the house and makes it a much more do-able task.

When I tried the sample sessions at launch, I thought about it long and hard for 30 seconds before subscribing Grin
