Steam mops - worth it?

The grout between our floor tiles is horrible!

Planning to get a steam mop to clean it. Then thinking I will seal it.

Has anyone done this? Will it work?

Please tell me your steam mop stories! 🙏

I have had two steam mops.

One is Shark .......ok but def no use for deep cleaning.

The other is Lidl own brand .....superior cleaning compared to Shark but very short lead .

I don't think a steam mop will bring your grout up to standard you want .

I think you would be safer to spend your money on a professional tile cleaner and have them seal it .

This is just my experience .

I had a Karcher for a bit and it was fantastic and easy to use but it mysteriously stopped heating the water ... so DH looked around and found a 'replacement' that was significantly cheaper... It was also significantly less good at cleaning and also looses steam through the handle of the wand so that you need to use a large cloth around it to prevent being burned and getting blisters... and he wonders why I never want to use it.

Cleans our porcelain tiles fantastically but not the grout.
