Need to keep children inside the drive - but have no gate!!??

Ok not really house keeping but you are all women with good ideas! Friend having c
Christening at Granparents house. Drive goes onto road - but no gate, no side gate and no facility to put one in. Either side of gate are brick pillars so thinking of some kind of fencing or mesh/screening that can be put up and taken down as needed. I know chldren should be watched but there is always one that escapes!
Ideas please!

Not sre for driveway but for side gate how about a stair gate type device?

I've seen these things called Driveway Guards, like a big orange net fence that you put up across the drive. Can't find where I saw them yet but they might be the answer?

Those driveway guards are good. We have a stair gate that works on the same basis.
