Oiled wood floor looking so dry

We live in a flat and have oiled dark wood floors throughout. When we moved in they were brand new. However, 7yrs down the line and the kitchen floor is looking so dry. It’s the only area we wash almost daily with 2 young DC. Does anyone have a recommendation for something that would refresh it without a re-oil?

We don’t want to pay a professional as the place is rented. We asked the landlord but it’s a big insurance company (we’re not in the UK) and they weren’t really interested. They will sand and oil the floor when we move out but we have no plans to anytime soon.

Can you get this stuff where you are? It’s a good home fix.

The daily washing has probably eaten into the polish and damaged the wood so wring out your mop to 90% dry when washing from now on.👍

Can’t open the previous link but I worked as a cleaner and struggled with a floor like that. I used orange oil from Amazon £10 a bottle. After the floor was clean and dry I’d whizz around a mop with a microfibre pad impregnated with orange oil . It looked and smelt lovely. I kept the pad in a plastic bag to stop it drying out and used every time floor was washed. Didn’t neeed much one bottle would last months and I used it on lots of furniture too.

Thanks both for responding. I think I can get the Nuncas here as I’m in Europe so I’ll give it a try.
