Well done Dyls Hope you enjoyed the shower

FGS I have to say that the link you did yesterday has a wonderful idea about colour changing pens on - so I am off to get some on way to friends. I am hoping the the toy shop in the next village has some

Tort Soup sounds yum. I had tomatoe and pepper. I tend to shove in what I have, but non of the men are into soup. Did I give you my address for PO?

Well I am off to get DS1 from Preschool. I managed all my linchtime list expect the piggin ironing too BWB

Hi ladies..

Well my upstairs is looking ok, downstairs not!

I have keep fit this evening....and have yet to decide what to do for supper!

rubythanks very much, I look forward to receiving the diary cover (No really....I'm looking forward to it already.....I'm very geeky when it comes to stationary and that kind of thing )

Ludaloo · 22/05/2008 16:42

I have just lost it with the kids.....

DD1 starts off by stropping at me in the car on the way home from school that she "isn't going to sing tomorrow evening....she doesn't have to if she doesn't want to and that singing is stupid" (she has to go, the whole school is singing in the community hall tomorrow evening)

Then she comes home and flings her bag on the floor and stomps off to find her wormery she made yesterday.
DS follows suit with his bag and follows DD1 outside to find his wormery.
DD2 is having a tantrum already because DD1 has wound her up! (DD2 asks if she is going singing, so I say...."you are going to watch" then DD1 says "you aren't comming, its for big kids" to which DD2 screams and bursts into tears....)
They all decide they want to let their worms go....and can't possibly wait....so I say "Well go to the end of the garden so you don't make a mess on the path"
5 mins later all 3 have emptied a litre bottle of soil each...with worms...right outside the back door and on the step!

DD1 made a pathetic attempt to sweep it up saying "where do I put the soil? How do I pick it up...I can't do it"

So as if I haven't been tidying up enough all day after the little buggers I end up sweeping the soil away too!

They are now tidying the living room up and picking up their shoes and bags!

Ludaloo · 22/05/2008 16:50

Oh by the way Dyls Congratulations on finishing your exam and great news re: the shower

Ludaloo · 22/05/2008 16:52

Oooh just realised, I thanked bianca for the thread....but it was gem! If I had a brain I'd be dangerous!

FunkyGlassSlipper · 22/05/2008 16:53

Sorry but at Luda's kids. I wonder how long you'll be finding worms by the back step for

Cat been to vets again and had new dressing put on. Wound healing well, pads a bit sore. He wont take the antibitics in his food so they've had to give him another injection. Back again in 5 days for another dressing change Costing a fortune. £125 so far.

No more housework done but we DO have a new trampoline. DD1 ecstatic. DD2 not so sure but will be better when the enclosure is up. Fills half the garden though

grouchyoscar · 22/05/2008 16:56

Ed leaves school filthy and asks to go to the park. I say yes, walk to the park, he fusses for ice crteam, I told him we couldn't as I didn't have the spare change. He rolls round in the dusty bark chips and then I remembert

I HAVE A COUNCIL MEETING TONIGHT AND FIL IS PICKING US UP AT 5.30!!!

quick trail home, bath running, he needs sprucing up and crumpets

See you tomorrow

Ludaloo · 22/05/2008 16:59

Bloody nightmare FGS! DD1 is being very troublesome lately. After I had shouted at them for emptying it all out EXACTLY where I told them not to, DD1 thinks it highly amusing to throw a worm at DS....who screams like a big girl and bursts into tears (he's a very fragile little boy) and now she keeps pretending she has one in her hand and making him squeal every five blinkin minutes!

Ludaloo · 22/05/2008 17:03

Infact it is usually boys who do annoying things like that to girls isn't it

I remember the boys at school used to catch dady longlegs and chuck them at us!

TheMadHouse · 22/05/2008 18:53

Luda I was and still am a bit of a tom boy. I dont mind worms and stuff. I managed to catch a field mouse in the house the other night.

I can not find colour change pens - how bloody hard can it be

tortoise · 22/05/2008 19:25

TMH Actually, no i don't think i do still have your address. Had forgotten again. Sorry. Will sort it tomorrow. £10.86 in all wasn't it?

Luda lol @ worms. I used to chase my sister with them. She was scared of them. Yes i was a tom boy too!

Well done Dyls. Bet the shower was good. I would love a shower.

GO Hope you got out on time.

dylsmum1998 · 22/05/2008 20:38

hi tort- I've always wanted a shower to. finally got one now i live here. its only one of the mixer tap ones- but it works . i cant wait to move to a house but to leave my shower and kitchen behind. i love the kitchen units and cupboards here. am unlikely to get a shiny new house like i did this flat

@ ludas children sounds highly amusing ( although i'm sure it wouldnt if i was their mum! )

GO did you get ready on time?

TMH i miss read your post as i cant find the colour change penis!!

tortoise · 22/05/2008 21:05

TMH Like these?

Dyls I did used to have a shower that fitted on the taps but shower screen wouldn't be easy here plus it broke so need new shower as well as screen. And would have to get help putting it up lol!

dylsmum1998 · 22/05/2008 21:13

LOL tort i'd struggle to, am hopeless with any thing DIYish

tortoise · 22/05/2008 21:16

I attempt most things but really don't fancy attempting drilling.

dylsmum1998 · 22/05/2008 21:30

i have put up shelves before but that was a long time ago and it took all day to put up 2 small ones!
now i buy flat pack shelves much easier can do those lots quicker

tortoise · 22/05/2008 21:34

I would probably drill through a wire or pipe even if i used a wire/pipe detector 1st!
