Can anyone recommend a decent reed diffuser please? I’ve tried ones from Sainsbury’s and Ocado and they just don’t work very well 😕

Valentte are good

DiscoPolly · 03/06/2025 15:36

Skandinavisk smell lovely

PrincessFluffyPants · 03/06/2025 15:58

Harrogate Organics were very good (bit pricey but worth it imo).

I found Next’s to be good - I still have a vanilla one I bought ages ago

Quirkswork · 04/06/2025 08:27

A lot of cheaper reed diffusers are horrible but I quite like the Lidl ones strangely, which presumably will be the cheapest of all.

John Lewis are good, really long lasting. We have the energy one and it's only £10.

@TallulahDoris hi OP are you near a Dunelm store? I went yesterday and they have loads at half price so a £15 one reduced to £7.50 I bought a black patchouli twin pack and it really works and smells beautiful
they had hundreds by the tills too in a different range of fragrances, single large 200ml ones so with a cork stopper and a lovely fabric label.

I’ve got some Aldi ones the other week and I put a new pomegranate one in the front room yesterday and just went in there to get something and was struck by how lovely it smelt in there. It was only a few quid too. Going to grab some more later as it’s such a nice smell.

ItsMutinyontheBunty · 05/06/2025 13:58

I got a set from B&M that are all really nice. DP has some from Dunelm like pp mentioned that seem to have lasted for ages.

They had large refill bottles in the surpraisles last week as well i think at £4.99

I would also recommend Valentte. I discovered them on this site by several posters recommending them. Made from natural oils.
Their best selling 'lemongrass & rosemary' gives a lovely fresh citrusy smell.
I have had many people coming into my home asking what the lovely fragrance was 🤗
If you buy their best selling box when on offer, you get a reed diffuser, candle & room spray all in the same fragrance,

I tried Valentte after reading some good reviews. I didn’t like it at all it smelt like toilet cleaner to me just a cheap lemony smell.

TheDogsKnees · 05/06/2025 21:13

Valentte do some lovely ones. I like the two that come in a gift set with a handsoap. They have different daily offers, so I never pay full price. I've only had one scent from them that I didn't really rate.

bge · 05/06/2025 22:26

The very best are Thomas Street from Etsy. So good. I love them

TheGrimSmile · 05/06/2025 22:51

Aldi Basil and Lime is really nice. Better than more expensive ones.

MrsPerfect12 · 16/06/2025 22:36

I picked up an air wick essential oils diffuser by Stacey Solomon in Tesco and I can’t believe how good the smell is for a couple of pounds. It’s lasted weeks.

ThePoshUns · 16/06/2025 22:45

Whenever I want a treat I buy La Fragonard Menthe Basilic reed diffuser.
It smells amazing and lasts ages.
M&S sells them.

Falingoth · 16/06/2025 22:49

I like Valentte, especially the lemongrass one.
Then again sometimes I buy Lidl ones and pour them into the Valentte bottles. They're just as nice really.
The Valentte ones, although nice, don't last very long I've found.

Sproutling · 16/06/2025 22:52

I use bath house patchouli and black pepper- also love the body wash, soap, hand wash and body lotion in the same scent, dp is also a big fan. House smells lovely (and so do we lol)

WhoWhereWhatWhy · 18/06/2025 13:13

I bought a few Valentte ones on the back of a similar thread once. I found them awful, unfortunately, they all smelled of toilet cleaner to me.

I really like any of the Rutuals ones, but particularly the Aukyurveda and Sakura.

I also like the Wax Lyrical sweet pea one and honeysuckle one, which are cheaper than Rituals.
