Hi , I currently have an Apple phone albeit very old , I usually buy phones outright from Apple but after visiting Vodaphone this week they I’ve been told that they could give me a good deal on contract which is less than I’m currently paying
The only thing is he said they’ve got problems transferring data from an old phone to new

Apple are so good at doing all the set ups and transfers & I don’t want to do it myself

My question is if I got a phone from Vodaphone and took it to an Apple shop to transfer all my data would they be peed off as I didn’t buy it from them thanks

They wouldn't give a shit, they provide Apple services, doesn't matter where you purchased the device.

I'd avoid Vodafone like the plague. If they can't do a basic task like transferring data from one device to another, I'd wonder what other basic things they are incapable of. They are known for hidden charges and ripping people off and their customer service is dreadful

Thanks , yes it is a concern I’ve been with vodaphone years , but yes I agree that it’s a concern that transferring data is slow so he said in the shop

Apple transfers are so easy why don’t you do it yourself? It walks you through the whole process as soon as you turn on the new phone.

I have to agree… if I can do it so can you! Just have your old device next to your new phone & it will literally walk you through it step by step in that lovely easy Apple way. It really is that easy.

Vodaphone sounds a bit naff too tbh 🫣
