Please help - moths

Pest control will come for a third time early next week for the first of two visits to spray the flat.

We have moths flying almost everywhere but concentrated in the linen cupboard and one of the bedrooms. They just keep coming back.

We’re going to buy vacuum pack bags and store all the linen there after washing them - but are going to wait until after the first of two pest control sprays first?

Is there anything else we can do?
Will we ever get rid of them?

I’ve found the Dragonfli sachets with the tiny parasitic wasps very effective but you won’t be able to use them straight after insecticide has been sprayed. This spring I deployed the wasps as soon as I saw a moth flying and I’ve only seen a very few in the sticky traps. I also have scented sachets from total wardrobe care in all my wardrobes and I am fanatical about putting my sweaters away into cashmere bags. Bastards.

If you have wool carpets, best to rip those up and replace them.

Thank you @PinkTonic . I only heard about the Dragonfli sachets this week. We’ll get some of those in to deploy after spraying. At this point we will try pretty much anything.

thank you too @LoremIpsumCici Unfortunately it’s not our property and the landlord doesn’t want to lift the carpets.

Has anyone used the smoke bombs you can buy? We have a seven year old so I’m nervous of the chemicals.

We were told to bag stuff up first. They don't eat cotton or polyester (except perhaps to get through them to the wool/cashmere/silk)

That’s a helpful tip @Mulledjuice I’ve ordered the bags and requested express delivery so will aim to wash and bag the majority before the spraying.
