Vinyl kitchen

So, I have lived in my new house for 6 months and I’ve ruined my kitchen! I cleaned my vinyl wrapped cupboard doors with the pink stuff paste! I even scrubbed away absentmindedly getting them clean! Then saw the horror - dull streaks. I assume I’ve ruined it but ChatGTP says to use this Autoglym Vinyl & Rubber Care 500ml” it assures me it will fix the problem.

Am I the only person to have done this ridiculous thing 😬 or has someone else committed this crime and fixed it?

I've done the exact same! I was told by the door supplier that there's a 'UV' coating on 'em, and it was likely that which i'd damaged. (Who knew?!).

In my defence, i'd got a trendy dark blue colour which showed every single finger mark!

I was recomended 'vuplex' cleaner, which i got online (lots of sellers!) which was somewhat succesful, and the 'magic eraser sponges' which were also somewhat succesful!

Sad end to my tale, i couldn't keep up with the finger marks, and ended up replacing them for a different colour, promising myself to be more boring in the future!

I actually can’t believe I’ve done it, its all I see now 😬 I’ve tried the Autoglm today but of course it’s not sunny so I can’t if it’s worked well or not.

I will try your suggestion next, I hate the high gloss, but the worse part-this isn’t our house, we are renting for two years (various reasons) but when we have finished what we are doing here we will move! So I’ve actually ruined a very beautiful RENTED kitchen 😫.

There won’t be any gloss left by the time I’ve finished trying to ‘fix’ it!
