Miele bagged vacuum wanting new bags too soon

I have always changed the filters according to the recommended schedule but despite this the 'full bag' indicator comes on now when the bag is still very recent and hardly full.

Is there anything I can do to deep clean or self-service the vacuum or will this need to go back to Miele for a service?
