Cleaner advice - how much time does it take?

I’m due to have a baby in a couple of months and struggling with the housework and work, partner is helpful but between us not managing with everything going on and I like it clean! We are hoping to hire a cleaner to clean the kitchen and bathroom (both standard terrace size so not big) for a good clean, I’m think fortnightly going forward until we can manage again. Do you think 2 hours is enough to cover both rooms?

I would say 2 hours would be plenty unless you regularly leave both kitchen and bathroom in a mess.

More than enough. You might struggle to get someone for less than 2 hours but I’d definitely get them to vacuum and dust your bedrooms and living areas in that time too. I used to get my kitchen, bathroom, living room, 3 bedrooms and stairs done in 2.5 hours a fortnight

A deep clean now. A good quick clean yes.
I live cleaning my house and 2.5hours is enough for a good clean but never a deep clean.
Before we had our children I would be nesting like mad and be ont he counters cleaning the tips of the cupboard and cleaning every wall and ceiling 😂 after baby came I had 0 energy to clean for a good 3 or 4 weeks.
Would have loved a present of a cleaner to come once a week for the first 5 or 6 weeks.
