So been married 24 years, 3 kids together, always worked, most of the time part time to look after the kids. 2 have left home and left with a young teenager now. I work 16 hours a week at a school, stressful position. Also suffer from mental health and fibromyalgia. Been in pain months.
also work part time for hubby, for his side job. Don’t get paid for this.
today he came home from work, stroppy saying thanks for my lunch, I asked what he meant and he said he’d texted me asking for to bring him some (15 drive away) I said no you text me to get some ham.
anyway he got mardy said he was sick of me doing my bear minimum!!! I’m fuming. He has coffee waiting for him most nights, dinner on table within 15 mins of bring home, sex at least 3 times a week. I dress and put make up on each night and he’s sick of me doing the bear minimum! I’m in constant pain and pissed off

I’d be tempted to show him what bare minimum actually looks like. But hopefully a more sensible poster will be along shortly with some more reasonable advice!

What are his good points?

No advice but just wanted to say Wow your ‘bare minimum’ is more than me trying my hardest and I don’t have chronic pain. No wonder you are pissed off!

All of this needs to stop, for a start. In fact, one could reasonably argue that all of this should never have been a thing to start with.

How many times does he dress up for you? Or make you dinner or coffee?
