Best way to clean upvc?

My new upvc door is covered with muddy fingerprints! Does anyone know the best thing to clean it with - star drops, just plain hot water, or anything else?

hot water, washing up liquid and a sponge work for me - guess stardrops would be similar

or cream cleanser (eg Cif) if it's really ground in
