Morning Gem, thanks for the thread. Enjoy your day today

FGS hope you and dd managed to get some sleep and she's a bit more comfortable today x

Managed to go to SiLs yesterday and even drove. Terrible traffic jam on the way home which set me off in a panic for a while but thankfully dh knew a way round it.

Dh has his annual inspection for work today (always stressful, although the inspector chap is v nice), we'll all be relieved when it's over.
I'm off to work so no FLYing again today.

Have a good day everyone

(PS When is EHM due home?)

TheMadHouse · 19/05/2008 09:00

Morning

Gem Thanks for the link. How old is DS. DS1 didnt drop his afternoon nap until he was 2.9 and ds2 is 2 next month and still has a 2 hour nap. I hated the time when DS1 dropped it he was so groucy by tea time

FGS Have you tried Aveno. I use it on DS1s exema

We are off to messy toddlers this morning and then back for lunch and DS1 to preschool and then I need to find someone to look after the boys whilst I am at the consultants tomorrow.

I have done the mourning routine. Had to pop the TD on as it is pouring down

Looks like summer is over here

TheMadHouse · 19/05/2008 09:01

x posts Bainca well done on the driving . What does DH do?

gem1981 · 19/05/2008 09:08

TMH

DS is 2, is this too early for no nap???

I don't really know what to do - he has ALWAYS gone to bed at 7pm without fail but now he lies awake for an hour until about 8pm just chatting away to himself and he is getting up earlier and earlier each morning?

I don't really want to drop the nap being 18 weeks pregnant! (really need that quiet time to get some rest )

FunkyGlassSlipper · 19/05/2008 09:51

Gem - When I was pregnant with DD2 the only way I could get DD1 to sleep was to put Neighbours on (v boring) and let her cuddle me. She would then fall asleep on the sofa. Still does that now if she's coming down with something.

dylsmum1998 · 19/05/2008 09:51

morning all hope all is well had probs with internet connection so couldnt get on all weekend. haent read the weekend thread

Gem my dd is starting to drop her nap now, will only have it if we're out and she in buggy. she's only just 2.

just had the plumber out to fix the bath/shower and guess what- they sent the wrong person he cant touch it cos flats still under guarantee!! fgs you'd think the HA would know that before sending him out. so now have to wait for the other company to phone and arrange a time to come out and could be another couple of days.

its sunny here but cloudy and a little windy. am hoping for the weather to get nice for the weekend as i bought a new tent i want to test out!!

today i need to

S&s bathroom done
load washer done

Hi all

gem my eldest son was napping, albeit once every ten days, right up until he started school at 4 1/2! DS2 is 3 next month and if he doesn't have an afternoon nap he wakes up in the night, always at 9.25pm-9.40pm.

I am determined to get back into flyinh.

DS2 is watching Underground Ernie (only way to get things done) and I will crack on.

Done
All the washing.
put clothes on everyone's bed and sorted.
Had breakfast.

To Do
Fold up bedding in drier and put in airing cupboard.
Put away all clothes on bed.
Empty and refill dishwasher.
Clear draining board.
plan tea for everyone.
Change animals water.
Tidy toys away in lounge.
Go in loft for storage (might not do that as scared of getting stuck up ther. )
Hoover downstairs.
etc
etc
etc

Hi all.

GEM Mine have both been terrible sleepers and nappers so I also dropped the day time naps at around 2. I used to have to push DS round the block in his buggy to get him to nap during the day (then leg it back home before he woke up).

GS take it easy girl. can you sit in the sun a bit (do you have sun?)

I am going to try and do missions this week. I seem to have lost my MOJO recently (perhaps its under the bed ).

grouchyoscar · 19/05/2008 13:14

Going downhill fast I'll not go to prop making this afternoon.

I've made lunch, hung the washing out, brought the yard's green bins in, surveyed the seedlings (They are ready to plant on)and done general potterring

I have to rest or I'll be hopeless for the rest of the day.

Hello

Collected Ed, helped to get him changed and now 3 U7s are in the front room playing XboX games.

I have lunchboxes to do for tomorrow and a clean uniform to put out Washing to bring in and sort and assorted potterring

Feel like cotton wool tbh

scattyspice · 19/05/2008 16:21

Don't do anything non essential Grouch. 4pm is a bad time of day.

Luda when is your Race for Life?

TheMadHouse · 19/05/2008 17:01

I am feeling a bit off - I suppose it is just the thought of coming off my medication for the depression. I see the consultant tomorrow and we are going to draw up a plan.

I feel so much better, I am just a bit woprried about regression, espeically with all that is going on.

I am doing home made pizza for the boys tea and DH is on his way home.

Mission done
Ironing done
Some clothes are in soak. DS2 is refusing to wear a bib at the moment and it was spag bol for lunch - hmmm

I need to pot up my hanging baskets and change the compost in a couple of pots tonight and then put the ironing away, but that is about it

GO What did the nurse say?
