Hi! I always have a big pile of ironing and looking for someone to come and iron at my house or take the pile away and bring it back. I don’t want to give it to a shop as they once mixed up bags and lost all my work shirts! 😖Please please help as I find myself ironing instead of spending time helping the kids.

Ask on your local Facebook group for any recommendations?
Or go really old school, put a postcard up in your local newsagents window?

Or look for ads in similar places for people offering ironing services?

I agree with this - definitely take a look at what really needs ironing. Hang everything up to dry. Shake things to shake out any creases as much as possible. I really only iron shirts and some t shirts now or if I’m going out I’ll iron!
Then after that ask around locally - there will be someone in your area.

Bunnyisputbackinthebox thanks but haven't received anything as yet. I'll keep an eye on my messages though.

A good quality steam generator iron can cut ironing time by a 1/3
I’d keep an eye out for 2nd hand steam press they pop up on marketplace for next to nothing

Loads of ironing services about , we’ve been using the same lady for about 18 yrs but we drop off and collect once a week as it’s more convenient , I’m sure plenty will collect and deliver back . Look on FB
