any tips getting sick smell out of carpet please?
used dr beckams carpet cleaner and anti bacterial spray xxx

Baking soda (dry) for 24 hours on the affected area. Hoover up after. Never fails.

Yes this also works on that vile smell you get with spilt milk on carpets. Be sure to use plenty and brush it in well. (also known as Bicarb)

Don't use lots of baking soda / bicarb with a hoover!

It can and does kill the motor as it's too fine to suck up in large quantities. If you do use bicarb then get as much as you can up first with a dustpan and brush.

(Source - I followed advice online to remove smell from my carpet and killed two hoovers 😓)
