Cleaning a fabric sofa.

Hi, I have a fabric sofa and want to give an allover clean. I've got a vax spotwash has anyone cleaned theirs with one of these. I'm nervous I'm going to ruin the sofa.

Yes we've done ours with a spot cleaner several times, no ill effects but prepare to be disgusted by the colour of the water afterwards! Ours has never had any real stains so it's more a case of freshening it up every now and again, can't speak for how effective it would be on major stains. Takes a while to dry afterwards, we tend to put cushions next to radiators in winter and prop up outside on a sunny day in summer.

Thanks, yeah I just wanted to give them a general clean thought this would be a good week to do them with the nice weather.
