In our very humble kitchen we have space for x1 under counter oven (or equivalent, standard 600mm width).
But after looking into this and thinking creatively, I am wondering if we would benefit from having a compact oven + warming drawer. (Or, a combi microwave oven + warming drawer), rather than just a big single oven.
Reasons for this are:
-We are a vegetarian household and so we don't actually need the full depth/width of a conventional oven to cook a large roast in or similar.
-We don't have a big family, cooking for 4 people, very occasionally 6.
-We would like to cut back on appliances in the kitchen - so here's a chance to get rid of a slow cooker (for the warming drawer) and maybe even the microwave and air fryer (as I have read a compact oven achieves a similar affect to this anyway)
Am I overlooking anything here?
Those of you who have combi-ovens + warming drawers - are they good? Do you ever use instead of your main oven (when/why)?
Is a combi-oven microwave worth considering - or is a separate microwave better? (I can see why we might keep a separate microwave)
Thank you for all your input!
