I was late to the party in buying teddy bear bedding but I finally succumbed at the end of January during a particularly cold period. I got a nice dark grey sheet from Dunelm and was very appreciative of the warm and cosy feeling. It was delicious to be surrounded by such comfort.
Fast forward to the first wash and I see that the outline of my torso and legs can be seen in the flattened fleece. I wasn't too happy about that but hoped it might spring back after washing. It didn't.
So now after a few washings the flattened section looks more like a cheap brushed cotton with an added cardboardy feel to the bit where my feet go.
Am I doing something wrong? I cant see anything else about this online but cant believe everyone else is happy that the fleece gets matted so quickly and so thoroughly.
