I need help! How do I clean:

A mouldy shower
A mouldy washing machine
A loo that may never have been cleaned before
An oven that also may never have been cleaned - including filters that look like a fire hazard
Cupboards and surfaces (some of these will need painting)

Any advice on products/techniques I should be using? I have two weeks, starting from tomorrow, to get this done! Thanks for any advice you can give.

For the loo, harpic 100% limescale remover toilet cleaner is good. Don't leave it sitting for too long.

This is brilliant. It's in the black bottle. You can also get the harpic toilet tablets that you put down the loo and it cleans under the waterline and down the u bend.

Ahh too late! I've done the loo now too! Not perfect but loads better. Thanks for all the advice, everyone!

Hello lovely people who helped me figure out this cleaning lark! I made a start on the oven today and even though I couldn't get it to look anything like new, it definitely looks better than it did! Grim job, though.

Also, for some reason the people who installed the oven (an 8 ring gas range) nailed a large square of glass to the wall behind it. I've cleaned the glass as best I can, but tbh it's never going to look clean because there's dirt behind it. So I'm wondering about maybe painting over it with kitchen paint? Or alternatively I have some lovely stick on vinyl tyles that might look good.

Any thoughts on this or other ideas?

I'd just take off the glass and start again

BLEACH DOESN'T CLEAN!!

Gets right on my tit ends when people always, always rock up suggesting bleach.

HG mould spray doesn't clean either, it just bleaches.

Sugar soap will do a sterling job of a kitchen. Start at the top and work the way down.

Can't, it'll take half the wall off! It looks alright now.
