Toothbrush holder that keeps gunk away

I am so fed up with yucky toothbrush holders and wondering if anyone has found a solution? We rinse and dry the toothbrushes after every use, but still some of the gunk makes its way to the bottom of the holder. I do clean that one as well with bleach and antibac but I am wondering what else can I do to avoid it in the first place?

Could you make a little lining with kitchen roll ?

Fits two electric toothbrushes in the bigger side FYI

Joseph Joseph. They have drain holes in the bottom and all parts dismantle for easy cleaning
Different sizes available

We use these, stuck to the tiles over the sink. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0BDYJ6ZTY

Not sure how to avoid it, but I use a normal wide glass for ours- wide enough to get your hand in to wipe it out every couple of days and goes in the dishwasher once a week. Easy.

I’ve got the Joseph Joseph one , the bottom clips off for cleaning, it’s great I’d thoroughly recommend it

Another vote for the Joseph Joseph one here. If you use bar soap they have a matching holder that stops it getting too damp and squishy but also comes apart for easy cleaning. They’re brilliant.

I lay ours on a clean flannel which goes in the laundry twice a week. No more slime!

I tried everything to stop this, it used to really annoy me! I now keep them in a drawer unit in the bathroom, lined with a flannel which I change regularly when I remember.

I just have a couple of glasses I use for toothbrush holders and change them over a every few days - stick them in the dishwasher before they get a chance to get gunked up.
