LG Turbowash with AI

I’ve been looking at this 10kg machine machine but I’m shocked at the cycle length and hoping for some advice!

It reckons it’ll take 240 minutes for a cotton cycle on 40 degrees! That seems incredibly long! Is this the norm these days?

Also, with the “AI” it claims it can do a 5kg load in 39 mins. I’m not buying it to do 5kg loads. I’m buying it because I need to do 10kg loads.

Does the AI automatically adjust a 5kg 39 min cycle if you add, say, 8kg of washing instead? Or will you still get it done it 39 mins but perhaps not as effectively.

Anything else I should know from anyone that has one?

I’ve also noticed on the user manual that it says you can only add much smaller loads on programs you wouldn’t expect. Like these, for a 10kg machine. It doesn’t make sense?
