Organic hard stains

Hi everyone!

I’m dealing with some stubborn pet stains on my linoleum floor, including urine, stool, and vomit stains from my cats. I’ve tried using a few products like Nature’s Miracle (orange spray) and some basic all-purpose cleaners, but the stains are still visible and haven’t gone away completely.

I’ve also tried using a baking soda paste and vinegar, but they haven’t fully removed the stains. Recently, I also tried cleaning with a mix of bleach and warm water, which seems to have helped a little, but the stains are still there.

I’ve read about using rubbing alcohol, but I’m not sure if it’s effective for these types of stains on linoleum.

Does anyone have experience with removing old pet stains from linoleum? What products or methods have worked best for you? I’m looking for something that is both effective and won’t damage my floor. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your help!

I’ve used hydrogen peroxide and household ammonia to get some years old rabbit urine stains out of a wool carpet. The method is explained on YouTube - thestainguide.com.
Edited to add: I didn’t bother with the pan of hot water, I just covered it with cling film.

From a quick google, you can use hydrogen peroxide on linoleum too.
