We do clean it out every time she uses it but I see a horrible line around the potty presumably caused by her urine and it's almost impossible to shift with normal cleaners..any ideas??

ditch the potty and use the toilet

buy a new potty?

Theres one in Tesco - £15 that doubles as a small seat for the toilet so you can gradually transfer her.

Buy a new potty, bet you can get them in Poundland - cheaper than buying loads of cleaners.
Other option is to go straight to using the toilet. DD used a toilet straight away and I think it is a good thing cos you don't have them using potty all round the house - they understand that you go to the toilet in the toilet!

I have a toilet seat that fits over the big toilet seat. Fits small bums nicely and no yukky potty to clean!!

I'd send you the padded toilet seat I used for my dcs - but someone actually bought it in a car boot sale!!! The things people will buy second-hand?!?!?! I only asked 50p for it though .

I find the magic erasers (the foam cleaning blocks) brilliant for removing wee from plastic. Ds does use the loo, but uses a toilet seat that seems to ensure urine stains the underside of the main seat...
