Washing machine delivery with installation -stacked under dryer

Hi
I cannot get the answer out of any of the customer services I have called! Am trying to work out when to get a washing machine delivered and how we prepare for it . We want to pay for installation and take away of old machine which is stacked underneath a separate dryer. Do they take off the dryer and replace it or is that something we have to do? Looking at Currys or Very neither of which explain this. Thanks

I have a shelf for my stacked appliances so replacing the washer is fine but they wouldn’t lift the dryer into place

When my friend bought a new washing machine the installers refused to touch it because the dryer was stacked on top. Personally I'd take the dryer off and put it out of the way of the path of the washer. I don't think anyone will give you a straight answer about it from customer services because technically washing machines vibrate during their spin cycle and also aren't designed to take the weight of a tumble dryer so they can't advise (I know it's very common to stack them though).
