Hello!

We need a new washing machine, minimum of 10kg to suit our family of 4. Currently have a 5kg one and having to do 3/4 loads on wash day and then 1 every day to every other day to get stuff done.

I’m keen for the steam functions (anti allergy) and anything else anyone would recommend? Ours is pretty basic at tbe moment with no fancy options. What’s an absolute must you’ve found?

Budget is £450.

I had the washing machine repair man here recently and he said Bosch are best at the moment. He said Miele used to be the best, but he recommends bosch now.

I like my Bosch, have had it a few years now.

Would not recommend Miele. We splurged on one a few years ago. It’s one of those stupid ‘twin dos’ bougie affairs. What a mistake!

I just want a washing machine that I open, put in powder, followed by laundry, and leave it to do its thing. I now refuse to comply with the twindos system which means EVERY BASTARDING TIME I use the machine, I have to scroll through a message on the display telling me to CLEAN THE BASTARDING TWINDOS SYSTEM!

The whole machine can just fuck off! 😆

Rant over….

Also realise this was in no way helpful. Apologies….

Not sure if this deal is still live but seems a bargain. I have a Samsung and am really happy with it.

It’s not showing the pic yet but if you go onto 10 ways to save money as a student on Fb and scroll down to yesterday sometime it’s a Samsung on offer from over £700 down to about £420, got all the mod cons!
