I’ve got rheumatoid arthritis and a few years ago had to give up my le Cruset pans, as I couldn’t lift them empty, never mind full! I bought a range of pans, casseroles and a wok from a company called Intignis. Brilliant British company, they weigh nothing and nothing sticks to any of them. They go in the oven, dishwasher and on the hob. I’d really recommend them.

Here’s the link but you can get them lots of places.

OP- your post has some serious spelling issues! I 'think' you want a fry pan?

I recently had to change my cookware because I was concerned about teflon type coatings, plus, we bought an induction hob and some pans no longer worked.

I have a mix of Fissler brand and also aga. The aga ones are great because the lids are flat and can be stacked in the aga or oven. The fissler frypan feels good in the hand and isn't too heavy. You can find them on ebay/amazon but also from various shops, not just from the fissler site.

For utensils, it depends what I'm cooking in the pan. Sometimes I use wooden spoons, I have a silicone whisk and also a metal, slatted spoon which has a thin rim of silicone surrounding it, to prevent any scratching.

@Darkclothes

we call them frying pans in the UK. No one ever calls them a ‘Fry pan’.

@AThousandPiecesInAPuzzle

I’m happy with my non stick frying pans but I never use metal utensils, never heat above 7 and never put them in the dishwasher. Which is how you’re meant to look after them so they last.

Thank you for letting me know. How does that change my advice and links?

I think IKEA ones are very good. I have one more expensive pan which is not any better really.

I have a frying pan but I never use non stick, always stainless steel.

I prefer wooden spoons but I do have stainless steel too.
