OK so after some uncharacteristic but enthusiastic cleaning I’ve just realised that, while polishing some movable bookcases, I managed to spray my hall wall with polish. There are now greasy, oily stains on the wall the rough outline of my bookcases. Can these be removed or is it a new lining paper and paint job?
