Does laundry detergent expire?

Asda have a sale on so I want to buy 5 x 2l bottles of non bio, to last as long as poss

I've got some boxes of pure soap LUX flakes - still going strong after 50yrs. Also a bottle of Stergene. Proper detergent no additives! No threat to aquatic wildlife (unlike a leading dishwashing liquid - check the label people)
