Hi , I have a sandstone fire surround , which I have burnt candles on , the wax has melted onto the surface and left terrible wax oil stains , which I can’t remove, any advice please ?🙏🏼

If they're coloured wax stains then you're probably stuck!
white wax stains you might be able to lift with blotting paper/ kitchen roll and an iron on low to a certain degree.
The biggest issue is that sandstone is porous so the marks aren't just surface discolouration, they'll actually be inside the stone - sorry OP but it's not going to be easy!

Melt and rescrape. Why Mrs?

yes I would try ironing over something absorbent like kitchen roll, but after that it might be a sanding job.

When you've got it out you can use sealer such as Lithofin to protect a bit against future spills.

Lithofin Oil Ex might poultice out this stain.
