jas Yes to sort out the anemia. Doc wants to check bowel and tummy to see if any reason not absorbing it and also see why my bowel habits changed with children. Also increase risk of Bowel cancer with the BRACA gene spelling mistake, but that is very very unlikley indeed. But nice to be thorough

dylsmum1998 · 13/05/2008 13:47

afternoon all.

have done some housework today have tidied, hoovered, washed breakfast things, and sorted dry washing out.
have been for a swim with dd then popped in to uni for advice regarding my exam, its still clear as mud!

dd's watching thomas she's tired but wont give in. gonna put off todays mission until she goes to sleep or as soon as i wash th floor she'll need a toilet- have to say wont be doing it with one of my towels!

luda am very shocked at your neighbours dogs talent- never known one able to that before!

NotABanana · 13/05/2008 13:54

Hello

Long time no see.

I have been busy and haven't got round to posting. Bad me.

I will check what the mission is and try and do better in the future.

Done
Fed DS2 and me
All the washing and pegged out.
Tided kitchen basket
Freash water for animals and food for Robbie
Made muffins

to do
Tidy my room
Lakeland order
tidy garden

intravenouscoffee · 13/05/2008 14:02

Glad to seemy list is proving popular
Managed to persuade DD to go back to sleep so have achieved:

Wash dishes Done
Have lunch Done
Clean kitchen floor Done
Vacuum lounge
Dust downstairs Done
S and S bathroom Done (not done this morning )

Will leave vacuuming till DD wakes up. Might try to tackle the mission. Need to get some more washing powder so the towel washing bit is on hold but I could give the floor a mop.
Right, will go and do more while I feel motivated. Don't know why I get in such a flap about it, once I actually start doing stuff it doesn't take that long. Procrastination should be an olympic sport - I could get medals!

Bewilderbeast · 13/05/2008 14:03

Afternoon all luda your neighbours sound like complete muppets and rude to boot

Done

wm unloaded and washing hung up
ds dressed, suncreamed and taken to granny's

Jas dusting for the first time in nearly a month and only because we've been getting the garden turfed and the whole house is covered in a layer of grime. Even I have to dust when it's visible from across the room
Must stop MNing and mop bathroom floor...

Ludaloo · 13/05/2008 14:16

LOL BB I think you have summed them up there!

I can only imagine a dog pooing in a straight line if you were walking with them and pulled them along as they were pooing!? Otherwise I have never seen a dog poo and travel forwards

I'm still waiting for the plumber He had better hurry up, I'll have to get DD1 soon.

IC I think I'd be a strong contender for a procrastination medal too

gem1981 · 13/05/2008 15:26

dylsmum1998 · 13/05/2008 19:12

gem i will be doing uni work tonight too, dd goes to bed at 7.30 ds usually sits reading etc til 8.30 and leaves me to it. does make me feel sad for him sometimes but only a week left and i get to have the whole summer off for him

tortoise · 13/05/2008 19:19

DD's in bed now. DD1 had been in a foul mood tonight! She has been stroppy since she was about a year old! I have said she gets no treat tomorrow. If she behaves then she will get something Thursday instead. I predict a tantrum tomorrow when the others get theirs.

dylsmum1998 · 13/05/2008 19:44

at torts dd being stroppy since a year old!
sorry i know its not fun for you my ds is a stroppy bugger at the mo but its frst thing in a while that has nade me

dylsmum1998 · 13/05/2008 19:47

i'm doing a degree in early childhood studies.
is it you thats doing english lit/language? what are you aiming at doing when you finish?

tortoise · 13/05/2008 19:48

Glad it made you I try and smile though it but she really got me down tonight. She got in a strop after school then had a screaming fit in the shop and stamped her feet nearly all the way home! Until i told her no treat tomorrow after warning her twice.

dylsmum1998 · 13/05/2008 19:54

i completely sympathis with you tort, my ds did it at the weekend as i was dropping him off at grandparents to stay the night, i felt wful for them as i marched him back home again told him could not stay until his behaviour improved. it was tempting to turn round and walk out leaving him there tho...

dylsmum1998 · 13/05/2008 20:07
