Best glass jars for storage

I'm looking for some glass containers to store flour / pasta/ sugar etc in.

There seem to be so many different options - can anyone recommend a brand?

Kilner. I've tried other brands that don't tend to be airtight (I'm especially looking at you, Ikea jars) but the Kilner ones are quite good. Worth the money IMO.

Another vote for Kilner. I’ve given up on the IKEA ones now very disappointing.

Does it have to be glass? OXO do some great clear plastic ones that stack well.

I was planning to use plastic, but then read an article about how glass is better.

Then again, plastic is cheaper, lighter, and less likely to break when dropped on the floor!

Kilner are heavier weight so less likely to break.

I use Mason jars for everything.

I like the Ikea ones. What's wrong with them?

I've got these (they were £9.99 in January). Really nice. Also have some kilner jars with clips but due to disability was struggling with the clips.

We have 2 sets of an older version of these.

They were a bit less pricey from Amazon but I'm still glad DP has never shown an interest in how much they cost.

They're the only expensive things we have, just about everything else is IKEA or supermarkets but for some reason I really liked these and am glad I allowed myself to spend quite a bit extra for once.
