Fitted sheets

Does anyone have any recommendations for fitted sheets that don’t come off? We’ve tried different depths to see if that helps but it’s always the same.

Dorma do the best ones imo, in different depths.

Mine are great, Egyptian Cotton and always remain in place, they were, however from Wilko and I'm sad I can no longer shop there. Luckily the two I use have lasted very well but where I will buy my replacements when they go I don't know? Sorry no help!

Homescapes, ours never come off. Well, apart from for washing obviously!

I bought some from Dunelm… They’re even guaranteed for 5 years!
They’re available in various depths so they fit perfectly £12 and 100% cotton

I must be getting old as I seem to be the only person that uses flat sheets now.
You can tuck them under the mattress nice and tight!
I was going to say try Dunelm as I have a fitted mattress topper with extra deep sides so they probably due the fitted sheets.
I'm still voting for a flat sheet 😁

IKEA or aldi do some deep ones. Wilko were the best

I've got a couple from Dunelm, one from IKEA and a couple off Amazon and none of them have ever come off, although I don't move around a lot in my sleep, which probably helps.

I'm not sure why fitted sheets are supposed to be better than flat. Flat sheets win in my eyes.

lingmerth · 13/03/2025 15:06

would recommend Dunelm. Never had a problem with the corners coming off.

Try putting them on like this. Headboard end, heaviest person side first then second headboard end. Then heaviest person foot end and finally the last foot end. I'm a professional housekeeper and that's how I do it. Also don't tumble dry them as they shrink.

Ooo I will definitely try that! Good tip.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. Will try Dunelm first as I have one nearby.
