Crying over (literal) spilt milk!

I've just dropped a full 2 litre plastic bottle of milk on my kitchen floor. The container burst and 2 litres of milk unfortunately goes a long way! I think the actual floor is OK, but quite a bit seeped under the kickboards of some of the kitchen units and when I pulled them off I found it's some kind of fibreboard under there which unfortunately is quite absorbent. I soaked as much as I could up with kitchen roll and then sponged it with warm water but it's going to stink in the morning isn't? Anyone know any magic tricks that can prevent my kitchen from smelling like vomit for the foreseeable future please?

Sodium bicarbonate- get it in the cooks ingredients aisle, buy a lot of it! Dissolve in water, use this to scrub the area. Neutralises the smell. Good luck!
