....cleaner do for you that makes her better than the rest? I'm starting a cleaning business and would like some insider tips on what I can do to become the best cleaner in your county!!

I'd like proper attention to detail, not just a quick once over that looks clean but isn't. I can do that myself!

I'd also like honesty about what's achievable in a certain time frame.

Ideally reliability and good time keeping but would understand the occasional need to be flexible.

Also I would want someone who genuinely enjoys it, I'd feel guilty otherwise!!

Hope it goes well for you.

Be proactive, actually look to see what extras need doing and do them ( eg noticing a little bit of black mould on bathroom window and just cleaning it, looking out for cobwebs and just dealing with it, working out their own rota to do the stuff that doesn't need doing every week but does need doing - like tops of door frames, skirting boards, tops of pictures, wiping down kitchen cupboard fronts etc, takes care over getting into corners)

I agree with being upfront and up sell yourself. Say I can do a weekly clean for 2 hours a week but some clients like me to do an extra 30 mins a week so I can rotate through deep cleaning tasks.

Have a check list of jobs and ask if they would like you to do what you normally do every week or do they want to look at the check list and decided which tasks they think are weekly tasks they want. After you’ve been cleaning a few weeks, send them a message asking if they want to change any thing or if they are thing you have missed.
