Cleaning Ugg slippers

The insides of my Ugg slippers are looking a bit gross. How best to clean and revitalise the wool interior? Tempted to put them in the washing machine on a wool wash but don't want to destroy them. Any tips?

I always wash my sheepskin, uggs and ugg gloves.

Key is to dry them quickly rather than letting them go damp.

Heated airer etc.

Also I just put them on a bog standard 30deg wash.

I washed my Ugg Ansley slippers in the machine, I generally do them in the summer though as easier to dry but you could perhaps fold a newspaper on top of a radiator and put them on that to dry, that's what DH does with his trainers as it is not so hot then for them.
