Hi
I've come on here as I am in need of some advice and to find out if anyone has had the same problem, I got one of these Britta Kettles for my workplace which is in a hard water area and thought it would help the buildup of limescale, which I got fed up of descaling regularly, so I went on Amazon and got this really lovely aesthetically pleasing Britta Water Filter Kettle that you can see the water boiling in, maybe not the best move, the filter does get changed when the indicator requires this mainly by yourstruely, but I'm beginning to think having a clear kettle were you can see everything isn't a good thing, as although this filter gets changed as it should, it still has build up which accumulates and flakes off, floating about in the water causing my colleagues to complain, so having a Britta water filter kettle does not seem to be the best thing, I might as well as purchased a normal kettle as I now have to go back to this descaling whenever the whinging begins or gets worse saying, 'what have we got a Britta Filter Kettle for", so has anyone who has one of these kettles experienced this?
Sam
